‘This is where it gets weird’: Cat parents realize their black cat is playing with someone that isn't there, and it looks exactly like how their last kitten used to play

Do you believe in aliens or spirits, feline fam? We're pretty pawsitive that aliens exist, but we're not so sure about ghosts. And yet, there are stories like the one below, where we can't help but wonder if there are things all around us that are there, but we just can't sense them. 

You know when your cat goes off and stares into space for a while, looking at something that isn't there? In those meowments, we might be convinced that ghosts and spirits exist. And if they do exist, it would 100% make sense that cats could see them.

While watching their black cat have their nightly zoomies, these cat pawrents started to notice something… strange. Their cat started playing with someone who wasn't there, and it was exactly the same way their kitten, who crossed over the rainbow bridge, used to play. The cat and kitten never met in real life, and yet they are convinced that the two met on this evening. What do you think?

  • We're convinced one of our cats has an imaginary friend. She's always going and “talking” to someone when there is no one there. She'll even jump around and sniff in areas that are seemingly empty. Either it's a ghost, an imaginary friend, or she's a little coo-coo. All are equally likely.

    2. A few years back I had three dogs in my pack. Our local rescue was over capacity and begging for fosters. I went in and asked for the oldest dog. He was a crusty, smelly, no teeth having, ollllld Chihuahua. They believed he'd been surviving on the streets for quite sometime. He had no name. So I called him Pee Paw.

    All of our animals love us. They visit us when they think of us. I fully believe that time works differently on the Other Side. When we arrive, our animals will be amongst our welcoming party. To them it will be like they just left here and now we are there... ready to continue loving each other.
